If you are new to Central I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Board and the ministry team here at Central United Church to welcome you into our midst! We are glad that you have chosen to make Central your worshipping home and we truly hope that you feel at home here. Please let us know if you have any questions at all about our church or if you have suggestions on how we could be more welcoming or help you in your faith journey.

Sometimes in larger congregations we are afraid to welcome new people on a Sunday morning, just in case they aren't new! Perhaps they have been attending longer than we have, just sitting where we can't see them. That can then lead to situations where people aren't welcomed as we as a congregation would like them to be. As ministers we greet and welcome many people when they leave on Sundays, but we aren't always aware of who is visiting and who is searching out a new worshipping home.
